Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Regional Strategy & Budgetary Ownership: Develop and execute a unified Regional Marketing Strategy for North America that integrates the four business divisions, while managing and optimizing the annual North American marketing budget.
  • Brand & Communications Leadership: Oversee regional marketing communications, public relations, and thought leadership to strengthen Kalmar's reputation and ensure consistent messaging across all touchpoints.
  • Dealer Enablement: Lead initiatives to equip dealer partners with campaigns, sales tools, and product launch materials that accelerate market adoption and strengthen the brand.
  • Go-to-Market (GTM) Execution: Create targeted regional GTM strategies, adapt global value propositions to the North American market dynamics, and establish marketing governance for efficient execution.
  • Demand Generation & Digital Marketing: Strategize and execute multi-channel campaigns, digital marketing, social media, and marketing automation to optimize lead generation and increase return on marketing investment.
  • Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement: Partner closely with the North American Leadership Team to drive growth strategies, support employer branding to attract top talent, and develop team capabilities through coaching and mentoring.

Requirements

  • University degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field (Master’s or MBA preferred), alongside native or fluent professional English proficiency.
  • 12-15 years of experience in B2B marketing & communications, ideally within a global industrial, heavy machinery, or logistics environment, combined with expert-level knowledge of the North American market.
  • Strategic Yet Hands-On: Proven ability to turn global strategies into impactful regional plans and roll up your sleeves to execute highly effective operational marcomms for North American audiences.
  • Results-Driven & Digitally Savvy: Strong track record of data-driven marketing, pipeline impact, and modern marketing technology, including social media, web analytics, and AI-driven tools.
  • Collaborative Matrix Player: A proactive, transparent communicator who excels at uniting diverse global organizational units (such as regional sales, local dealers, and central marketing) toward a unified goal.
