Job Summary

Own and operationalize a measurement engine that ties media, creator, and retail investments to incremental business impact, turning data into fast, action-ready briefs for growth and creative teams.

  • Own the omnichannel incrementality and halo effects across D2C, Amazon, and retail, using MMM, MTA, and causal inference to guide investment decisions.
  • Lead the translator function bridging Data, Finance, and Creative teams to turn insights into briefs and investment shifts, plus build a high-performing Marketing Science team.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Architect the Source of Truth
  • Define the Measurement Roadmap: Establish the vision for quantifying the effectiveness of all media, sponsorships, and partnerships.
  • Integrate Social Commerce: Act as the chief architect for quantifying creator marketing, ensuring TikTok Shop, Podcast, and Influencer efforts are recognized as essential infrastructure within our Marketing Mix Model (MMM).
  • Master Omnichannel Incrementality
  • The "Halo" Authority: Develop the frameworks to measure how D2C spend (Paid Social, Search, TV/CTV) drives velocity in Amazon and physical retail.
  • Advanced Methodology: Implement and oversee a robust balance of MMM, Multi-Touch Attribution (MTA), and Causal Inference, deploying experimentation and hold-out tests to validate marginal ROI.
  • Retail Media Strategy: Leverage "clean-room" solutions (e.g., Amazon Marketing Cloud) to connect upper-funnel media exposure to bottom-funnel marketplace conversions.
  • Drive AI-Powered Innovation
  • Intelligent Infrastructure: Identify and deploy AI/ML capabilities to automate high-frequency reporting and move the organization toward predictive analytics.
  • Bias-to-Action Dashboards: Build and manage self-service visualization tools (Tableau, Looker) that translate complex statistical outputs into simple, actionable recommendations for Growth and Creative teams.

Requirements

  • The Expert: 12+ years in marketing analytics or marketing science, with deep experience in advanced measurement organizations or high-growth D2C brands.
  • The Omnichannel Strategist: You have a proven track record of solving the "attribution puzzle" for brands with complex distribution across D2C, marketplaces, and big-box retail.
  • The Technical Architect: Proficient in SQL, Python, or R, with hands-on experience building and deploying MMM and incrementality frameworks.
  • The Business Driver: You understand that a model is only as good as the action it inspires. You have the executive presence to influence a $100M+ P&L and the "player-coach" mindset to dive into the data yourself.

Preferred

  • The AI Visionary: You don't just use tools; you know how to leverage AI to solve complex marketing problems and streamline intelligence operations.

Benefits

  • Fully covered medical benefits + dependent contributions
  • Unlimited PTO
  • 401k with up to 4% match
  • “Work from Anywhere” bank
  • Wellness stipend for health & fitness
  • Commuter benefits
