Job Summary

Own the firm’s investor communications and content system, translating strategy into credible materials for investors, partners, and executives, while shaping brand-ready messages across website, email, and campaigns.

  • Manage and refine investor materials, acquisition-facing content, and partner outreach to ensure consistency and credibility.
  • Build reusable messaging frameworks, content calendars, and templates to accelerate outbound communications and marketing campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • Draft and refine investor-facing materials, including firm overviews, deal summaries, investor updates, FAQs, and follow-up communications.
  • Help translate Dark Alpha Capital’s investment strategy and acquisition focus into clear, professional, market-facing language.
  • Support communications with investors, family offices, operating executives, acquisition partners, and other external parties.
  • Develop and manage content that supports Dark Alpha Capital’s brand, market presence, and business development efforts.
  • Create or oversee LinkedIn posts, firm updates, sector commentary, acquisition thesis content, website copy, and other written materials.
  • Ensure that all public-facing content is professional, consistent, and aligned with the firm’s positioning.
  • Review and improve website copy, firm positioning, investment criteria language, sector pages, and other credibility-building assets.
  • Help maintain a consistent tone and message across the website, investor materials, email campaigns, and public communications.
  • Identify gaps in the firm’s external presentation and recommend improvements.
  • Improve email sequences, follow-up templates, call support materials, and campaign messaging.

Requirements

  • Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate with sophisticated business, investor, and executive audiences.
  • Experience developing professional marketing, investor, business development, or executive-facing materials.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to produce polished work.
  • Ability to work independently in an entrepreneurial environment.
  • Comfort working with senior leadership and translating strategic ideas into clear written materials.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Preferred

  • Experience in private equity, venture capital, investment banking, family offices, search funds, independent sponsors, investor relations, or financial services.
  • Experience with B2B marketing, professional services marketing, capital markets communications, or executive communications.
  • Familiarity with acquisition strategy, investor communications, or lower-middle-market business topics.
  • Experience managing junior marketing, content, design, or administrative support.
  • Experience with CRM-driven outreach, email campaigns, LinkedIn content, website copy, or investor materials.
