Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Social presence across every channel. You'll own Product.ai's voice on LinkedIn, X, YouTube, and TikTok at the company level. Not posting links and hoping. Building a real presence with a distinct voice that people follow because the content is worth their time. On X, that means engaging with the AI and commerce communities in our actual voice - sharing original thinking, responding to conversations, building the kind of presence that makes people say "follow this account." On LinkedIn, that means company-level thought leadership that positions Product.ai as the team building what everyone else is talking about. On YouTube and TikTok, that means short-form and long-form video that shows the product, the thinking, and the people behind it. You'll develop the channel strategy, build the content calendar, and ship the posts yourself.
  • CEO voice amplification. The CEO has original thinking on AI, commerce, truth, and company-building. You'll help him get it out of his head and into the world. Ghostwrite when needed. Edit and shape when he drafts. Study how he thinks, how he talks, how he writes - and become the person who knows his voice better than anyone outside his head. When you ghostwrite a LinkedIn post, it sounds like him. When you edit his draft, you make it sharper without changing who he is. The best version of this is a creative partnership where rough ideas go in and finished pieces come out that he's proud to put his name on.
  • Brand positioning and narrative. You'll own the story of what Product.ai is and why it matters. Not a tagline exercise. A sustained narrative that runs through everything we publish - from a tweet to a case study to how we describe ourselves to candidates. You'll work closely with our Associate Creative Director on visual identity and brand-to-product translation, while you own the verbal identity and positioning. When someone encounters Product.ai for the first time, the story should be clear, compelling, and consistent regardless of where they found us.
  • Content production engine. You'll build the system that turns company activity into published content. Product demos become blog posts. Strategy conversations become social threads. Research findings become case studies. You're not just writing - you're building a production system where content ships consistently (two or more pieces per week) without sacrificing quality. AI handles the mechanical parts. You handle the judgment calls - what's worth saying, how to say it, and when to ship it.

Requirements

  • Based in Santa Monica. In-office five days a week.
  • You are a brand voice builder, not a content writer. You've owned how a company shows up in the world. Not just executed a content calendar someone else designed - you defined the voice, the positioning, and the editorial strategy.
  • You absorb voice. You can read someone's writing and internalize how they think. You can ghostwrite and it sounds like them, not like you.
  • You are a social media native with channel expertise. You don't just understand social media as a distribution channel. You understand the mechanics of each platform - what works on X versus LinkedIn versus TikTok versus YouTube.
  • You're AI-native in your production workflow. You use AI tools to multiply your output without flattening your taste.

Product.ai

Product.ai is building the verification layer for AI commerce. AI has two problems nobody is solving. One makes it structurally incapable of protecting your money. The other is flooding the internet with noise. Together, they are collapsing the information ecosystem into something we call the Beige Singularity. We stress-test products claims against physics, economics, and engineering. Built by the bootstrapped, profitable team behind SimplyCodes, we apply 16 years of commerce verification methodology to the entire product landscape.
