Job Description

Responsibilities

  • EchoStar's internal ad agency, OneTen Creative, requires a business-minded and visionary Agency Director to drive long-term strategic growth and streamline operations within a dynamic corporate landscape.
  • This leadership role addresses the complex challenge of aligning creative initiatives across major brands like Sling and DISH with broader corporate objectives and strict financial metrics.
  • By consolidating executive management and operational oversight, this role serves as a powerful advocate for the agency, shielding the creative team from distractions to maximize output and efficiency.
  • Successfully navigating this position requires bridging the gap between high-level executive expectations and day-to-day creative execution to establish OneTen as an invaluable internal partner.
  • Develop and execute OneTen’s 1- and 3-year strategic plans to firmly establish the agency’s position and financial value within the larger EchoStar ecosystem.
  • Lead and advocate for the creative agency while streamlining organizational structures and department initiatives to optimize creative output and efficiency.
  • Establish comprehensive Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to regularly track project outcomes, measure creative ROI, and evaluate overall agency health.
  • Drive the growth of the internal agency footprint by scaling internal capabilities, scoping projects, and managing cross-departmental resourcing budgets.
  • Integrate generative AI tools and modern creative technologies into the agency workflow to increase production efficiencies and foster continuous operational innovation.
  • Bridge the gap between creative execution and executive leadership, facilitating seamless marketing alignment with the VP of Brand and Marketing and other corporate departments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience within a creative agency setting (in-house or external).
  • Experience with executive agency leadership roles (e.g., Agency Director, Managing Director) and directly managing senior-level leaders across Creative, Client Services, and Operations.
  • Visa sponsorship not available for this role

Preferred

  • Advanced AI literacy and application skills to strategically evaluate and adopt emerging AI tools for creative operations and production workflows.
