Job Description

Own the brand narrative and launch playbook for Pearl in NYC and scale to new intellectual hubs globally, driving the go-to-market strategy and community impact.

  • Go-to-Market Strategy — Design and execute the playbook for launching Pearl in New York and scaling to new intellectual hubs globally.
  • Visual Storytelling — Capture the essence of our in-person salons through high-fidelity photography and video, documenting the "Pearl aesthetic."
  • Be the Face — Act as a primary ambassador for the brand; you are comfortable being in front of the camera, hosting digital content, and articulating our mission to the world.
  • Community & Advocacy — Build the engine that turns members into evangelists; oversee the curation of initial cohorts to ensure a high-signal environment.
  • Editorial & Content — Define the "Pearl Voice" across all platforms. You’ll produce content that feels less like marketing and more like a high-end publication.
  • Viral Loops & Retention — Partner with Product to design features that encourage organic invite cycles and deep long-term engagement.
  • Demonstrated experience across growth, marketing, or community building, ideally at a high-end lifestyle brand or consumer startup.
  • An Intellectual Practitioner — You don't just market to intellectuals; you are one. You have deep intellectual habits—whether you're a voracious reader, a regular at galleries, or a philosophy buff—and can speak the language of our members authentically.
  • The Creative "Triple Threat" — You have a sharp eye for photography, the technical skill to shoot and edit, and the charisma to lead on-camera content.
  • A "Full-Stack" Marketer — You can write a compelling manifesto, dive into the data of a conversion funnel, and produce a high-aesthetic launch video in the same afternoon.
  • Cultural Fluency — You understand the nuances of intellectual culture and the "loneliness epidemic." You know how to market "meaning" without it feeling manufactured.
  • NYC-based — You thrive in the energy of the city and are ready to be on the ground where our community lives
  • Competitive salary.
  • The opportunity to shape the cultural zeitgeist from the ground up in New York City.
  • Path to Leadership — This is a high-growth role with the explicit opportunity to elevate into the Marketing Director position within a short timeframe, contingent on performance and impact.
  • Ownership of a brand with a genuine point of view and a high-performance, intellectually serious culture.
