Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Define the Offsite Ads Strategy: Develop and communicate a compelling product vision and long-term roadmap for Uber's off-platform advertising solutions, aligning with Uber Ads' overall strategy and growth objectives.
  • Lead 0→1 Product Development: Drive end-to-end development of new programmatic advertising capabilities, including DSPs and offsite ad technologies.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Engineering, Data Science, Design, Sales, Partnerships, and Operations to launch offsite ad products.
  • Advertiser Success & Growth: Champion enterprise and SMB advertiser needs with self-serve tools and intuitive workflows.
  • Data-Driven Optimization: Establish KPIs and use experiments to optimize performance, connecting exposure to downstream outcomes.
  • Industry Partnership and Compliance: Integrate with strategic partners and ensure privacy and data security compliance.
  • Team Leadership: Hire, mentor, and lead product managers and analysts, influencing other Uber Ads leaders for an omnichannel platform.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of product management experience delivering tech products and scaling them to adoption.
  • At least 2+ years of experience managing other product managers.
  • Bachelor degree or bachelor's degree
  • Deep understanding of digital advertising and programmatic ecosystems, including DSPs, RTB, targeting, and measurement.
  • Familiarity with offsite ad landscape and trends in ad tech.
  • Ability to discuss architecture, APIs, data pipelines, and models with engineering teams.
  • STEM or Computer Science degree strongly preferred.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and execution capability, with experience building new businesses.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to navigate ambiguity.
  • Proven success in leading multi-quarter product initiatives in nascent areas.
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision making.
  • Proficiency with product analytics, experimentation, and SQL.
  • Ability to interpret complex datasets and derive insights for product improvement.
  • Exceptional cross-functional collaboration and executive stakeholder influence.

Preferred

  • Domain Knowledge (Plus): Advertising product management or retail media platforms experience; familiarity with CPG verticals is beneficial.
