Job Summary

Own end to end brand leadership across multiple accounts, shaping strategy, driving execution, and mentoring the team while identifying growth opportunities for clients.

  • Brand Leadership: Own complex initiatives and ensure strategy carries through tactics
  • Team & Ops: Set the tone, mentor staff, and manage SOWs and budgets with PM alignment
  • Growth & Client Impact: Identify organic growth, develop cross functional recommendations, and monitor progress to protect satisfaction

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead complex initiatives on large brands or multiple mid-size brands, including strategic and tactical initiatives
  • Ensure pull through of Brand strategy on tactics and initiatives
  • Be a teacher and mentor to junior staff and direct reports
  • Work with your manager to “set the tone for the team”
  • Run projects and initiatives end to end while supervising junior staff
  • Manage your teams SOW from creation, through completion.
  • Work with Project Management to ensure budget changes are communicated as appropriate to agency management and appropriate team members
  • When appropriate, work to optimize established agency account procedures, including account files, approval process and status reports and ensure team members follow them.
  • Learn to identify and act on organic growth opportunities.
  • Develop and sell recommendations to client(s) with cross functional team members and manager

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 6 years of medical marketing or agency experience
  • Experience with multiple types of projects and initiatives (digital, social, omnichannel, TV, CRM)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Able to travel to client meetings
  • Previous experience managing one or more direct reports
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Superior organizational skills
  • Able to collaborate across a multi-disciplinary team
  • Excellent presentation skills with an ability to present ideas to brand teams and clients

Preferred

  • Patient Pharmaceutical advertising experience is preferred, not required.
