Job Summary

Own the hardware product lifecycle from ideation to launch and post launch, coordinating go-to-market alignment, cross functional execution, and risk management.

  • GTM & lifecycle ownership: align hardware, software, marketing and ops teams across ideation, prototyping, validation, manufacturing, launch, and sustained releases.
  • Risk & delivery governance: prioritize scope, schedule, and budget, surface blockers early, and drive fixes in a matrix environment.
  • Status communication & feedback loop: report to executives and collect customer feedback post-launch to inform the roadmap.

Job Description

  • Lead go-to-market efforts for a given product(s), aligning the team’s efforts throughout the product lifecycle, including ideation, prototyping, validation, manufacturing, launch, and sustaining
  • Drive priorities to ensure product(s) achieve schedule/scope/budget targets, proactively elevate risks and obstacles
  • Work with matrixed team of partners from hardware, software, marketing, operations, and other teams to close gaps and resolve issues
  • Communicate product status to internal (including executive) teams
  • Continuously improve product quality by maintaining pulse on customer issues and feedback after launch, as well as by managing internal beta testing execution and integration of user feedback into product roadmap

    • BS degree or greater in an engineering field (or equivalent experience)
    • 5+ yrs of working experience
    • Hands on experience with hardware product development
    • Strong project/program/product management fundamentals
    • Culture of continuous learning, ongoing process improvement, and a first-principles approach to problem-solving
    • Experience in influencing decisions and leading teams in a matrix environment, comfortable with ambiguity
    • Excellent communication and presentation abilities

    • Master’s degree in engineering or business is a bonus
