*Pay:* $18.00 per hour *Front Desk & Social Media Coordinator* *Blue Moon Dance Co. – Austin, TX* Blue Moon Dance is a welcoming, community-driven dance studio specializing in partner dancing. We’re known for our warm atmosphere, high-quality instruction, and inclusive, joy-filled culture. We’re looking for an outgoing *Front Desk & Social Media Coordinator* who can both help run the studio day-to-day and support our online presence by engaging with our community on social media. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys connecting with people both *in person and online*, and who loves being part of a vibrant, social environment. About the Role *Schedule:* Monday–Thursday, 3:00–5:30 PM You’ll be the welcoming face of the studio while also helping maintain and grow our online presence. From greeting students at the front desk to responding to Instagram messages or posting studio content, you’ll play an important role in how people experience Blue Moon Dance. Key Responsibilities * Greet students and guests with warmth, confidence, and professionalism * Answer phones, texts, emails, and *social media messages* promptly and kindly * Manage day-to-day studio operations when the owner is not present * Assist with scheduling, class registrations, and payments * Support sales with a friendly, solution-oriented approach (no hard selling) * Engage with students and followers through *social media comments, messages, and interactions* * Help create and post simple *social media content* (photos, stories, updates, and event promotion) * Capture occasional studio moments, events, or classes for social media use * Communicate clearly with instructors and work collaboratively as a team * Learn and use *MindBody* software (experience is a plus, not required) * Keep the front desk, lobby, and studio organized and welcoming What We’re Looking For * *Strong social media skills* (especially Instagram and Facebook) * Outgoing, friendly, and confident communicator * Comfortable interacting with people both *in person and online* * Strong multitasker who stays calm under pressure * Naturally personable with a warm, genuine approach to sales and customer service * Solution-oriented mindset—you look for answers, not excuses * Comfortable handling responsibility and making good judgment calls * Honest, reliable, and quick to learn * Team player who supports both staff and students * Experience with social media engagement or content creation preferred * Knowledge of partner dancing is helpful; willingness to quickly learn about dance styles and classes is a must * MindBody experience is helpful but not required Why Work at Blue Moon Dance * Be part of a positive, inclusive, and supportive community * Work in a fun, lively, people-focused environment * Gain experience in *social media, client engagement, and small business operations* * Opportunity to grow with a studio that values integrity, joy, and connection * *Free dance classes, training, and access to all our social dances* If you love people, have a big personality, and enjoy connecting with others both in person and online, we’d love to hear from you. *PLEASE NOTE – To apply:* Send a resume and a brief introduction about yourself, along with any relevant experience, to *erin@bluemoondance.co* Pay: $18.00 per hour Benefits: * Employee discount * Professional development assistance Work Location: In person
