Responsibilities
- Researching and creating engaging content across a range of outdoor and adventure-focused clients.
- Writing blog posts, editorial-style articles, website copy, and marketing content.
- Developing compelling ideas, writing clear and engaging prose, and editing content for clarity, accuracy, and brand voice.
- Collaborating with the Surf and Snow Collective creative team to align content with brand strategy, SEO goals, and marketing campaigns.
- Meeting deadlines across multiple projects.
- Role starts as freelance contract with potential for ongoing work.
Requirements
- Strong skills in Creative Writing, Content Writing, and Research.
- Prior publishing experience with outdoor publications, magazines, or brand blogs.
- Experience writing for outdoor brands, adventure travel companies, or outdoor media.
- Proficient in proofreading and content editing.
- Experience in copywriting, blogging, and editorial writing.
- Familiar with WordPress, Shopify, and similar CMS platforms.
- Able to develop compelling story ideas and execute long-form content.
- Strategic thinker for content strategy and audience engagement.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Capable of collaborating and incorporating feedback into projects.
