Job Summary

Drive hands-on event marketing for Orlando-area junior golf events by supporting ticket sales, social media, and weekly promo video work.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Ticket Sales: Develop and implement ticket sales strategies.
  • Engage with potential attendees to promote and sell event tickets.
  • Track ticket sales and report progress to the Event Planning Team.
  • Digital Media: Collaborate with the marketing team to create digital media content.
  • Assist in designing and producing graphics for promotional materials.
  • Contribute to the development of engaging visual content for online platforms.
  • Social Media: Manage and update social media accounts to promote HJGT events.
  • Create and schedule posts to engage with our online community.
  • Monitor social media activity and respond to inquiries and comments.
  • 30-45 Second Promo Videos: Work on the production of short promotional videos for upcoming events.
  • Assist in scripting, shooting, editing, and publishing promotional videos.
  • Ensure that promotional videos are engaging and reflect the event's essence.
  • Research: Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and best practices.
  • Compile data and insights to inform event planning and marketing strategies.
  • Present research findings to the Event Planning Team for consideration.

Requirements

  • Must be local to the Orlando, FL area.
  • Enthusiasm for golf and/or event planning.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Photoshop).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and content creation.
  • Basic video editing skills (experience with video editing software is a plus).
  • Able to work 4 days a week 8am-5:30 pm EST

Preferred

  • Experience with video editing software.
