Job Summary

Own and evolve data driven marketing science for client portfolios, turning data strategy into actionable audience and measurement programs, while advising clients and coordinating with Planning and Investment teams to drive growth.

  • Own: marketing sciences roadmap, data strategy and audience solutions for client portfolios.
  • Advise: trusted analytics partner shaping measurement, data sources, and ad tech options with clients.
  • Collaborate: align with planning and investment teams on budgets, media plans, and optimization.

Job Description

Responsibilities
  • Marketing Sciences Leadership: Set vision and roadmap for client marketing sciences programs and analytics.
  • Data Strategy and Data Ops: Define data strategy and practical roadmap to maximize 1st/2nd/3rd party data through integration and augmentation.
  • Client Advisory and Relationships: Provide strategic advisory on how data and analytics unlock growth opportunities.
  • Audience Solutions & Collaboration: Develop best-in-class audience solutions with Planning and Investment teams.
  • Thought Leadership: Offer guidance on analytics, research, measurement, and ad-technology concepts.
  • Budget & Planning Collaboration: Partner on annual budgets, media plan development, and ongoing budget optimization.
  • Industry Trends & New Tech: Share POVs on data/analytics trends and emerging solutions like clean rooms and attention measurement.
  • Leadership & Development: Lead and mentor direct reports and build team skill growth.
Requirements
  • Industry Knowledge in marketing analytics and data (1st/3rd party data, data lakes, clean rooms, aggregated/user-level data)
  • Experience in integrated marketing related to media and/or customer journey, including budgeting, revenue forecasting, ROI
  • Expertise in audience-based marketing and data-driven advertising
  • Analytic, strategic problem-solving skills to clarify data and analytics issues
  • Proven leadership and strong client relationship experience
  • Stellar communication and presentation skills; translating complex solutions to marketing programs
  • Ability to train and coach colleagues; organization, writing, presenting, analysis and project management
  • Comfortable in ambiguous situations
  • Passion for adopting emerging ad tech and data innovations
  • University degree and 13+ years in data/analytics for advertising or consulting
  • Knowledge of agency-side media campaign planning/desirable but not required
