Coordinate and manage email marketing operations for PBS SoCal, handling list management, scheduling, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Write, build and schedule email distribution.
  • Manage and maintain the cross-functional email distribution calendar.
  • Update newsletter lists and segmentation.
  • Coordinate internal requests for newsletter ads and placements.
  • Maintain the organization of the email tool.
  • Update email workflow and preference center content.
  • Manage email assets and link tracking needs.
  • Pull data for monthly and ad hoc reporting.
  • Participation and collaboration in regular project, department and company meetings
  • Other duties as assigned to support the mission and goals of the department and organization

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, computer science or a related field (preferred).
  • At least 1 year of email marketing, digital advertising, analytics, or related experience (a combination of education and experience will be considered).
  • Experience using email marketing tools (Iterable, Mailchimp, Klaviyo, Selligent etc.).
  • Experience with building or editing email templates.
  • Experience with editing or resizing images (using Photoshop, Canva, etc.).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, One Drive, SharePoint).
  • Familiarity with email marketing trends.
  • Ability to handle multiple deadlines simultaneously and effectively prioritize work.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate with associates and contributors across the organization.
  • Must live in the Southern California area and be able to attend local meetings and events.

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, computer science or a related field (preferred)
