Job Summary

Own the administrative and operations spine that touches governance, events, communications, and donor work, with a heavy focus on coordination, compliance, and cross-team support.

  • Operations & Governance: coordinate Liaison and Foundation Board activities, oversee special events and fundraising, and manage donor and membership data systems.
  • Communications & Compliance: supervise website and social channels, develop marketing materials, handle correspondence, and manage government/public relations with regulatory awareness.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Have a valid driver’s license that meets WWAARC insurability requirements
  • Must be an effective communicator in both the written and oral form
  • Must possess a working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point
  • Must possess the ability to understand and implement technical information from oversight and outside agencies and to explain such information to all levels of the organization
  • Must possess the ability to manage a variety and multitude of tasks and effectively triage acute issues
  • Must possess the ability to support projects both operationally and from a financial perspective including appropriate data analysis
  • Must gain a thorough working knowledge of relevant OPWDD regulations, policies and statutes

Preferred

  • A bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Communications or Business is preferred
  • Three years’ experience in project management, fundraising and/or public relations is preferred
