Job Summary
The role leads brand strategy, marketing vision, and ROI accountability while shaping content direction and editorial standards. It requires building a measurable pipeline, partnering with Sales, and guiding a content team toward strategic, revenue-driven output. Experience across multiple channels and leadership of marketing or content teams is essential, with a preference for faith-based or purpose-driven contexts.
Job Description
Responsibilities
- Brand strategy, positioning, and narrative ā you define how Sunday Cool shows up in the world
- Marketing vision and annual roadmap tied directly to revenue growth targets
- Budget ownership with full ROI accountability
- High-level campaign architecture ā you design the plays, not just approve them
- Set the content vision, voice standards, and editorial direction for all Sunday Cool content
- Oversee the content team including Ninjas Are Butterflies, short-form video, podcasts, and social media
- Own the content calendar and ensure every piece serves a strategic purpose ā not just filling a schedule
- Raise the quality bar on all content output and protect the Sunday Cool voice
- Coach the content team to think like marketers, not just creators ā every piece should move a needle
- Tight partnership with Sales leadership on pipeline, lead quality, and conversion
Requirements
- 5ā10 years in marketing with progressive leadership responsibility
- Proven track record building marketing strategy tied to measurable revenue outcomes
- Experience overseeing content strategy and production across multiple channels (video, podcast, social, email)
- Experience managing and developing a team (even a small one)
- Cross-functional experience working directly with sales teams
- Strong portfolio of brand work, campaigns, and content strategy you can walk us through
- Experience in faith-based, ministry, or purpose-driven organizations is a plus but not required
