Job Description
Responsibilities
- Direct all communications, media and marketing strategies for Keep Louisiana Beautiful
- Lead content creation
- Manage public relations and media relations
- Drive engagement and partnerships
- Oversee events and programs
- Occasional after-hour work and in-state travel required
- Work with minimal supervision
- Collaborate with staff and partners
- Manage multiple advertising agencies and media campaigns
- Supervise a team
- Develop and advance communications strategies for campaigns and programs
- Ensure brand visibility is strong and consistent
Requirements
- 7+ years of communications and marketing experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Experience managing a million+ budget
- Proven work experience in communications, marketing and media relations.
- Highly capable project manager with excellent multi-tasking and organizational skills
- Exceptional verbal communicator, writer, and storyteller with the ability to develop clear and persuasive materials that compel diverse audiences.
- Experience managing multiple advertising agencies and media campaigns.
- Experience supervising a team
- Success in developing and advancing communications strategies for campaigns, and programs
- Good proofreading skills and attention to detail
- Results-driven, quick learning
- Ability to self-start and work independently with limited supervision
- Ability to work successfully with staff and partners
- Proficiency in WordPress, and Elementor
- Experience with website management
- Proficiency in graphic design using Adobe Creative Suite applications and Canva.
- Proficiency with social media scheduling tools such as Sprout Social
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software
