Own and coordinate school level marketing and communications to drive enrollment, fundraising, and brand integrity across channels.

  • Brand & Campaign Leadership: craft a unified plan aligned with the mission and priorities across digital and print.
  • Storytelling & Content: capture student life and school impact, then publish engaging content with strong visuals.
  • Enrollment Support: back Admissions with campaigns, materials, events, and a stronger Niche presence.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy aligned with the school's mission and strategic priorities
  • Ensure consistent branding, messaging, and visual identity across all platforms and materials
  • Oversee brand standards, logo usage, and overall school presentation
  • Develop and manage an annual communications calendar to support school initiatives, enrollment efforts, fundraising campaigns, and major events
  • Monitor and evaluate marketing effectiveness through analytics and reporting, providing recommendations for continuous improvement
  • Create and manage engaging content across digital and print platforms
  • Capture and share stories that highlight student life, faculty, events, athletics, and school impact
  • Partner with faculty and staff to identify and develop meaningful content opportunities
  • Coordinate photography and visual content that authentically reflects the KCC experience
  • Maintain a library of photos, videos, and marketing assets for future use

Requirements

  • A committed follower of Jesus Christ with a lifestyle and testimony consistent with the mission of Kansas City Christian School
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Graphic Design, or a related field
  • Experience managing websites, social media platforms, and digital marketing campaigns
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and visual communication skills
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a variety of stakeholders
  • Creative thinker with strong attention to detail
  • Positive, flexible, and servant-hearted attitude

Preferred

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar design tools
