Responsibilities

  • The U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Committee (USOPC) is seeking a collaborative Director of Go-To-Market Campaigns to lead the development and execution of go-to-market strategies that support the organization’s fan engagement objectives.
  • This position sits within the Fan Growth & Experience Department, reporting to the Senior Director of Integrated Marketing.
  • The Director is responsible for managing end-to-end campaign planning that orchestrates cross-functional collaboration from campaign blueprint to cultural moment.
  • This leader will partner closely with various teams including Content, Branded Experiences, Creative, Brand Strategy, Communications, and Partner Marketing, as well as additional teams across the USOPC and external stakeholders, to create cohesive, multi-channel campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and affinity for Team USA and its athletes across the Olympic and Paralympic Games cycle.
  • Lead the development and execution of go-to-market (GTM) strategies for major brand, organizational, and Games-related campaigns—ensuring USOPC’s marketing efforts are strategically aligned, cross-functionally integrated, and audience-focused.
  • Build comprehensive GTM activation plans that define campaign objectives, messaging pillars, target audiences, channel strategies, asset needs, key moments/touchpoints, and measurement frameworks.
  • Manage a team inclusive of Go-To-Market Planning, Marketing Operations, and Creator & Cultural Marketing to ensure each campaign touchpoint across the Team USA ecosystem is integrated, and capable of landing in culture and converting to growth.
  • Translate high-level campaign goals with the Brand Strategy team into detailed implementation roadmaps, collaborating with internal teams and external partners to define tactics, timelines, and deliverables across all phases of activation.
  • Ensure GTM plans are driven by cultural and trending insights, and are inclusive, athlete-centric, and designed to resonate with fans, partners, athletes, and stakeholders across the Olympic and Paralympic movements.
  • Implement and manage a series of cross-functional planning meetings and planning documents that serve as the foundation of go-to-market collaboration.
  • Collaborate with Insights, Media, Creative, Content, Experiential, and Athlete Marketing teams to incorporate audience research, athlete perspectives, creative best practices, and performance data into campaign planning and optimization.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive, flame-to-flame strategy and integrated marketing calendar that identifies key campaign milestones, competition events, cultural moments and opportunities for the Team USA brand to authentically engage new audiences.
  • In partnership with the Senior Director, lead strategic relationship development and planning efforts with content creators, social media platforms, and key publishing partners to drive brand visibility, collaboration, and cultural relevance.
  • Oversee Integrated Marketing operations and budget management to create processes that lead to efficiencies across teams.
  • Partner with Asset Development team to inform the creation and execution of commercial programs that deliver on fan engagement goals and partner objectives.
  • Partner closely with Content, Experiences, Creative, PR/Comms, Par, and Partner Marketing teams to ensure campaign consistency and channel integration.
  • Lead campaign working groups and facilitate collaboration across departments and external agency partners to align on campaign goals and deliverables.
  • Serve as the internal campaign project manager, ensuring timelines, approvals, and creative assets are delivered on time and at a high standard.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key external stakeholders across the Olympic and Paralympic ecosystem—including NBC, the International Olympic Committee (IOC), National Governing Bodies (NGBs), LA28, and other Games stakeholders—to align on messaging, timelines, and collaborative opportunities.
  • Act as a USOPC marketing liaison in cross-organizational initiatives, ensuring Team USA campaigns are informed by and supportive of the broader movement’s priorities and strategic direction.
