Responsibilities

• Lead and manage proactive media campaigns targeted at key financial and business press, working independently or in conjunction with colleagues and PR agencies (news releases, secured interviews, articles, blogs, social media content, etc).
• Handle inbound journalist inquiries in an accurate and highly responsive manner to support our market commentary and data attribution programs.
• Help manage our day-to-day agency relationships and contracts with key providers.
• Serve as a primary contact for industry research analysts, e.g., Crisil, Bloomberg Intelligence/TABB.
• Write, commission, and edit a range of markets and products content.
• Contribute to competitive media analysis, monitoring, and reporting as needed, ensuring our press coverage reflects industry trends.
• Create compelling, interactive briefs for internal and external senior executive presentations and industry panel participation.

Requirements

• 8-12+ years of experience in corporate communications, financial journalism, or at a PR agency.
• Knowledge of or experience in financial markets (ideally in fixed income or electronic markets).
• Excellent contacts and rapport with top-tier financial media, and solid news judgment.
• Strong writing and content development skills.
• Excellent, incisive communication skills.
• The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong knowledge of generative AI and other emerging technologies reshaping communications.
• Digital and social media experience in an enterprise corporate setting.

• The current pay range for this role if performed in the city of New York is currently $150,000-$215,000 per year, based on a regular, full-time schedule. The amount of pay offered will be determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to qualifications, market data, geographic location, and internal guidelines.
