Job Description

Responsibilities
  • The Director of E-commerce is responsible for leading the strategy, growth, and execution of the company’s ecommerce business, with a primary focus on Amazon and Chewy.
  • This role owns the end-to-end performance of these platforms and is accountable for driving revenue growth, profitability, operational excellence, and best-in-class execution across marketplace channels.
  • Oversee ecommerce strategy and execution including assortment, promotional planning, media investments, and operational excellence.
  • Monitor marketplace platform performance, algorithm changes, and policy updates to proactively mitigate risks and unlock opportunities.
  • Lead best-in-class execution across content, SEO, advertising, pricing, promotions, and availability.
  • Develop and manage annual operating plans, forecasts, and promotional strategies for eCommerce channels.
  • Own and execute the e-commerce marketplace strategy, with deep focus on Amazon and Chewy.
  • Drive sales growth, share, and profitability across Amazon (Vendor Central and/or Seller Central) and Chewy.
Requirements
  • Proven success managing Amazon Vendor Central and/or Seller Central, including retail negotiations and media programs.
  • Deep understanding of Chewy’s platform, operating model, and customer expectations.
  • Strong P&L ownership experience with a track record of driving profitable growth.
  • Highly analytical, strategic, and execution-oriented with excellent communication and leadership skills.
