Job Summary

Own the grant lifecycle and donor program with a data-driven, partnership-focused approach that ties fundraising to social content and reporting.

  • Growth Infrastructure: Own end-to-end grant lifecycle including sourcing, applying, tracking, reporting and boilerplate maintenance.
  • Donor Pipeline: Build a recurring donor base with retention, upgrade, and new acquisition benchmarks.
  • Data & Partnerships: Align with finance on budgets, reports, and data practices; manage databases and enable grant materials, social content, and partner outreach.

Job Description

Responsibilities
  • Development & Fundraising: Oversight of the full grant life-cycle from sourcing grants, applying for grants, tracking grants, and grant reporting; creating and maintaining grant boilerplates.
  • Cultivation of an individual recurring donor base with benchmarks: donor retention rate, average gift size, donor upgrade rate, response rate, new donor acquisition, donor satisfaction.
  • Development of financial and in-kind partnerships.
  • Maintaining Kindful donor database, Airtable grant database, Asana grant tracking; training staff on effective use of systems and tools for developing donors.
  • Collaborating with the JHFA finance team to obtain organizational budgets, financial reports, and other financial documents for donor and grant life-cycle.
  • Maintenance and oversight of all organizational social media accounts; consistent social media engagement; developing original content and sharing relevant content.
  • Direct email campaign outreach via MailChimp and direct email campaigns.
  • Direct mail annual end of year ask campaign, when applicable.
  • Facilitating and maintaining outreach and press related partnerships.
  • Maintaining close communication with the JHFA data department; developing and maintaining processes for effective organizational data management; providing guidance on best practices for data gathering to support grant funding; developing and maintaining systems for data management; utilizing data to create social media content and grant drafts, templates and reports
