Own and execute BriefCatch's content, SEO, social, and community strategy to drive brand lift, audience growth, and free trial acquisition, while coordinating with product, growth marketing, and sales.

  • Own and scale content, SEO, social, and community programs
  • Align messaging with product GTM and campaigns

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Own brand elevation and audience growth strategy — the content, SEO, organic social, and community programs that build BriefCatch's profile among legal professionals and drive free trial acquisition.
  • Develop and execute a content strategy across the blog, gated content, and thought leadership that establishes BriefCatch as the authority on AI-powered legal writing.
  • Own SEO strategy and execution — technical, on-page, and content-driven — to grow organic search into a durable, compounding acquisition channel.
  • Lead organic social strategy and community engagement, building a genuine following and active participation among lawyers, law firms, and legal writing communities.
  • Program and host webinars and other thought-leadership content that builds awareness and feeds pipeline.
  • Own product and solution page content on the website, and partner with Growth Marketing to keep landing page and campaign messaging aligned with brand voice and positioning.
  • Develop customer education and learning content (help center resources, onboarding guides, and the like) that supports activation and retention.
  • Produce sales enablement collateral and technical writing that helps the sales and Business Development Manager close and expand accounts.
  • Direct a bench of freelance writers, a designer, video production, and PR support against a production calendar, so deliverables ship on time, on brand, and on budget.
  • Partner with the Director, Growth Marketing to align campaign strategy and messaging with buyer personas, funnel stage, and business objectives.

Requirements

  • 7–10+ years of B2B content, brand, or community marketing experience, ideally in SaaS, including experience directing freelance or contract talent, with a track record of growing audience and brand awareness, not just producing content
  • Hands-on SEO experience with a demonstrated record of driving measurable organic growth — you\'ve owned the strategy and the execution, not just briefed someone else on it
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with an established ability to develop and maintain a distinct brand voice across formats and channels
  • Experience directing freelancers, agencies, or contractors (writers, designers, or PR) against a production calendar to ship consistently on time and on brand
  • Comfort operating in a small, early-stage environment. Willing to wear multiple hats, build processes that don\'t yet exist, and move without a large team or an established playbook
  • Fluency with AI tools across the content and SEO stack, and a clear point of view on where AI genuinely accelerates output versus where it\'s just noise. As a company built on AI, we expect you to use AI tools to get more done with a lean team, not just talk about it
  • Strong analytical instincts: you can read audience and content performance data, diagnose what\’s working, and build a plan to do more of it
  • Strong project management skills: able to juggle multiple workstreams, freelancers, and stakeholders simultaneously without dropping the ball on any of them
  • Experience marketing to legal, legal tech, or other complex/regulated B2B audiences is a strong plus
  • A good sense of humor, 99% of the time

Benefits

  • The chance to shape a foundational go-to-market function at a category-defining company, with real input into strategy rather than just execution
  • A team that works hard, moves fast, and is genuinely proud of the product it builds
  • Unlimited PTO
  • Highly-competitive health, dental, vision and other insurance benefits
  • 401(k) savings program with company match
  • Equity
