Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Content Development & Management: Complete company brand positioning, value proposition, brand book, lead content creation, planning and delivery for internal and external audiences, ensuring message consistency and alignment with business priorities.
  • Digital & Social Media: Lead regional digital communication strategy (website, LinkedIn, etc.), oversee social media presence, campaigns and content, leverage data insights to optimize engagement and visibility across platforms.
  • Media Relations: Build and maintain relationships with key media, oversee press releases and media kit development and distribution; provide media training for spokespersons.
  • Event Communications: Design and implement communication strategies for major events (industry exhibitions, leadership summits, internal meetings), ensuring consistent messaging across all modules.
  • Planning & Budget: Planning and budgeting process for all communication activities.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, policies and corporate governance standards.
  • Government Relations/Public Affairs: Coordinate regional government political affairs, form coherent advocacy and engagement strategies with policymakers and regulators.

Requirements

  • Cross-functional communication skills (internal, external, media, digital, marketing communications)
  • Mature expertise in media relations, internal communications, digital platforms and crisis management
  • Business acumen, able to connect communications and government relations to business objectives and market impact
  • Strong copywriting ability, able to quickly simplify highly complex information
  • Global perspective and cross-cultural global mindset, excellent interpersonal skills and cultural adaptability
  • Energy industry business knowledge
  • English communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree or above, electrical engineering, business administration, marketing, etc.; MBA or master's degree a plus
  • 10+ years of leadership experience in communications, media relations, events and public/government affairs, preferably from multinational matrix organizations.
  • Key account breakthrough experience with TSO/DSO/IOU/OEM/EPC customers;
