Responsibilities

• Assist the CEO + overall team in managing day-to-day tasks
• Keep up to date with all clients
• Develop press materials, coordinate media requests and outreach, research new key media contacts, assist talent on-site at events and photoshoots, help handle company social media, and provide administrative support as needed
• Create pitch letters, media lists, press clippings, and press kits to ensure maximum coverage
• Always be ready to provide team support
• Positively represent ICON PR at all times

Requirements

• APPLICANT MUST CURRENTLY BE BASED IN LA, HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION & AVAILABLE FOR A FULL-TIME POSITION.
• Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations, Journalism, Communications or Media-related major preferred + 1-year minimum of prior PR agency experience - preferably within the creator economy
• Desire to work in Entertainment Public Relations field long-term
• Strong interest in entertainment, digital and music celebrity talent publicity
• Detail orientated, computer savvy, organized, good with time management, excellent verbal/written communication skills and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated and takes initiative
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, work overtime as needed, and collaborate effectively as a team member
• Knowledge of Cision/Vocus, Muckrack, Microsoft Suite, and Google Suite is a plus
