Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of SEO and GEO strategies and solutions across digital shelf content to improve discoverability, AI answer inclusion, and conversion performance across retailer and owned platforms
  • Define and drive structured content standards (metadata, taxonomy, schema) to enable scalable content reuse, consistency, and optimization across DAM, PIM, and CMS ecosystems
  • Establish, build, and scale AI-enabled workflows to analyze category and competitor content, automate optimization, and drive continuous improvement
  • Own cross-functional alignment across Marketing, eCommerce, Brand, Legal, IT, and agency partners to standardize content practices and accelerate adoption of optimization capabilities
  • Drive digital shelf and GEO performance through analytics, testing, and application of evolving SEO, GEO, and Agentic capabilities
  • Lead and execute SEO and GEO strategies across digital shelf content to improve search rankings, Agent citation inclusion, and conversion outcomes at scale
  • Partner with stakeholders across Marketing, eCommerce, Brand, and agencies to define optimization roadmaps and deliver enterprise content standards aligned to search and AI discovery
  • Design, build, iterate, and scale agentic workflows (content audits, optimization engines, automated recommendations, content review) to improve speed, quality, and efficiency of content optimization
  • Collaborate with Brand, Digital Shelf and Legal teams to establish process and workflow for continuous improvement through experimentation, competitor benchmarking, and adoption of emerging SEO, GEO, and AI optimization best practices
  • Work closely with Engineering team to QA the outputs from the implementation of customized agents

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in SEO, Product, digital shelf, eComm, or content optimization roles, with demonstrated impact on share, organic visibility, AI search outcomes, and conversion performance
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Technology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Deep understanding of SEO/GEO fundamentals and advanced optimization strategies
  • Experience with structured content, metadata, taxonomy, and platforms such as CMS, DAM, and PIM
  • Experience with analytics and performance tools (e.g., Google Search Console, SEO platforms, eCommerce analytics)
  • Experience working in and influencing cross-functional, matrixed environments

Preferred

  • Experience with applied AI, GenAI, or agentic workflows, including the ability to prototype or validate use cases using APIs, low‑code tools, or lightweight applications.
  • Experience designing or scaling automation and agentic workflows
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder leadership skills
  • Experience publishing content into CMS and PIM systems.
