Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Own CIS's digital ecosystem: website, email, social, paid, and search, as an integrated audience-growth engine
  • Move new audiences from awareness to engagement to action (donate, volunteer, advocate)
  • Turn CIS's exceptional but under-told story into visible, discoverable content
  • Use analytics to show what's working across channels, not just platform by platform
  • Channel-agnostic and funnel-minded, not platform-siloed
  • Roughly 60% strategist, 40% hands-on maker
  • Data-literate: comfortable with analytics, testing, and reporting
  • Curious, current, and highly responsive
  • Collaborative and audience-obsessed
  • Own strategy across website, email, social, paid digital, and search

Requirements

  • 5–8 years in digital marketing, content strategy, or social media with cross-channel (not single-platform) ownership
  • Demonstrated experience with website optimization/SEO, email marketing, and social strategy
  • Hands-on with analytics (e.g., Google Analytics), A/B testing, and audience segmentation
  • Experience running paid digital campaigns on a limited budget
  • Strong writing and content-production skills, including short-form video

Preferred

  • Nonprofit marketing experience is not necessary but preferred
  • Experience in education, youth development, or social impact
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • Video editing, design familiarity, or CRM / marketing-automation experience
  • Must reside in Central Texas
