The mission of United Way of Denton County is to improve lives in Denton County.Guided by our Community Needs Assessment, United Way of Denton County follows two complementary strategies to advance the common good in the areas of Education, Income and Health: We amplify the efforts of our twenty Partner Agencies through carefully vetted grants and community-wide coordination, and we pursue Collective Impact Initiatives that unite diverse community organizations to solve the many complex issues facing Denton County.United Way of Denton County is a local organization managed by a local Board of Directors comprised of community leaders from across Denton County.
