Job Summary

Own the firm’s flagship website, microsites, and content ecosystem, driving ongoing improvements, SEO/GEO optimization, and analytics reporting to grow visibility, traffic, and engagement while maintaining accessibility and compliance across multiple domains.

  • Own website governance and optimization across wsgr.com and key blogs, with CMS stewardship and cross-functional alignment.
  • Drive SEO/GEO strategy and analytics-based improvements to lift organic traffic and engagement for attorney bios and firm content.
  • Handle content operations end to end, from updates and launches to email alerts and intranet content, with a focus on timely, compliant delivery and measurable outcomes.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • The Digital Experience/Website Program Lead is responsible for overseeing, managing, and optimizing the firm’s flagship website—www.wsgr.com—and overall digital presence, including with respect to various external-facing microsites and blogs.
  • Define, prioritizes, and implements website updates and improvements on a continuous basis, in partnership with Marketing Department leadership and various internal administrative functions at the firm.
  • Identify and execute SEO and GEO strategies to improve website visibility and engagement and drive increased traffic from search engines and other sources.
  • This scope of activity includes both scheduled, proactive website management tasks and ongoing requests and special projects that arise from internal clients in the usual course of business.
  • When possible, projects are driven by approved strategies and business objectives, and outcomes are measured through analytics, engagement statistics, and traffic reports.
  • Manage the firm’s flagship website (wsgr.com), which contains over 25,000 web pages, including bios for 1,100+ attorneys and other professionals.
  • Manage and continuously update the firm’s various microsites and blogs (e.g., Emerging Companies and Venture Capital microsite, Careers microsite, Data Advisor blog, Known Trends blog) with new content.
  • Serve as the primary gatekeeper for RubyLaw, the firm’s website content management system, responsible for establishing global settings, managing users and access, and updating roles and passwords.
  • Maintain the registration of the firm’s various website domain names.
  • Troubleshoot any and all website-related technical issues/challenges in a swift and seamless manner to ensure an uniterrupted digital presence.

Requirements

  • Minimum of seven years of website management experience; law firm or professional services marketing experience preferred.
  • Ability to work independently—as well as collaboratively as part of a larger team—and successfully carry out projects to completion.
  • Ability to prioritize numerous tasks, work well under pressure, and meet tight deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary responsiveness and customer service.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a business or technical field required, or equivalent.

Preferred

  • Proficiency with WordPress, Google Analytics, Adobe Photoshop, Marketo, Salesforce, and OneTrust Cookie Management Platform preferred.
  • Experience with emailer-building software and managing email campaigns preferred.
  • Experience with RubyLaw CMS preferred.
