Responsibilities

• Content Strategy: Implementing digital campaigns that drive traffic to platforms and social media. Working with the news room to translate and create content for social media. Staying current with trends, strategies and digital tools and platforms.
• Digital Fundraising & Engagement: Implementing strategies for donor acquisition and digital engagement.
• Website/App Oversight: Ensuring the station's digital presence is up-to-date and engaging.
• Analytics & Reporting: Using data to measure the success of digital content and inform strategy.
• Additional duties as assigned

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree
• Experience with and knowledge of digital media formats, platforms, web development and graphic design
• Excellent customer service skills, good attitude and professional written and oral communication skills
• Proficiency in Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Snapchat, and more or the ability to learn platforms quickly
• A collaborative personality who enjoys working with a team and communicating with management and colleagues for insights and feedback
• Creativity, energy and enthusiasm

Nice To Have

• One year or more of experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of and enthusiasm for public media and the news industry
• Knowledge of Wilmington and the Cape Fear Region
