Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Email acquisition, direct donate, and persuasion.
  • What does the role involve? As an advertising intern at Middle Seat, you’ll work with the advertising team by trafficking ads, writing ad copy and petitions, pulling together reports, analyzing ads performance, handling some administrative tasks, and other responsibilities as requested.

Requirements

  • You’re a senior, in your last year of an undergraduate program, or a recent grad
  • Are based in the United States
  • This position requires full-time (40 hour work week) or near full-time availability.
  • Are a team player
  • Follow along with the news of the day and have a solid understanding of the U.S. political system, political campaigns, and key progressive issues (i.e. abortion, racial justice, labor, climate change, etc.)
  • Are committed to working for left-of-the-left political candidates and causes

Preferred

  • Have a background in social media management or digital advertising
  • Have worked on a political campaign, advocacy organization, or nonprofit
  • Have some experience in Facebook Business Manager and Google Ads
  • Are a fantastic writer
