Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Implement DKT’s communications and content strategy across digital channels
  • Own the editorial calendar, content themes, and day-to-day messaging
  • Create original content: blog posts, social media, graphics, campaigns, and marketing collateral
  • Lead visual storytelling using Canva and Adobe InDesign
  • Analyze communications metrics and bring data-driven recommendations
  • Manage content updates and architecture for the DKT website with web developers
  • Plan and execute campaigns to drive audience engagement, web traffic, and donor acquisition
  • Optimize online donation processes and conversion pathways
  • Execute donor cultivation and stewardship activities — appeals, newsletters, thank-you materials, impact stories
  • Maintain donor database (CRM), segmentation, and fundraising metrics

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in communications, marketing, content, or growth — in any sector
  • Execute with urgency
  • Strong writing for campaign copy, impact stories, and donor-facing content
  • Comfort with data: metrics, CRM systems, email analytics, A/B results
  • Creative ideas with ability to work within a brand and strategy
  • Proficient in WordPress, Canva, Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Office, and email/social platforms
  • Motivated by impact and able to point to work funded something real

  • Private sector marketing, growth, content, or communications backgrounds welcomed and considered for this mission-driven role.
