Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage comprehensive CRO audit frameworks for Shopify storefronts, evaluating site structure, page layout, copy, UX, and checkout flow
  • Build, prioritize, and maintain structured A/B and multivariate testing roadmaps aligned to each client's revenue goals and traffic volume
  • Design and implement landing page strategies for paid media campaigns, ensuring alignment between ad creative, messaging, and on-page experience
  • Analyze test results using statistical significance standards, synthesizing findings into clear insights and actionable recommendations for internal teams and clients
  • Collaborate with paid media, retention, and creative teams to ensure CRO initiatives align with broader full-funnel strategy
  • Own the execution of landing page builds and edits on Shopify, with support of a Shopify developer
  • Monitor and report on key CRO performance metrics including conversion rate, bounce rate, add-to-cart rate, checkout completion rate, and revenue per session
  • Identify friction points across the customer journey using tools such as Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity, or Lucky Orange, and translate qualitative insights into testable hypotheses

Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in conversion rate optimization, with a strong emphasis on Shopify and DTC eCommerce
  • Demonstrated experience designing, executing, and analyzing A/B tests with measurable outcomes
  • Proficiency with A/B testing platforms such as Elevate and/or Intelligems
  • Hands-on experience building and editing landing pages within Shopify, including familiarity with page builder tools such as Replo
  • Experience with key Shopify apps for Upsells, Cross Sells, Popups, Subscription, and Loyalty
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data from GA4, Triple Whale, or similar analytics platforms and translate findings into strategic recommendations
  • Solid understanding of direct response principles, UX best practices, and consumer psychology as they apply to eCommerce
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly present test findings and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple client workstreams simultaneously in a fully remote, fast-paced agency environment

Preferred

  • Experience with heatmap and session recording tools such as Hotjar, Luckey Orange, or Microsoft Clarity
  • Familiarity with post-purchase survey tools such as KnoCommerce or Fairing to inform CRO strategy
  • Understanding of paid media funnel dynamics and how landing page strategy intersects with ad performance
  • Exposure to Klaviyo or SMS marketing flows and how email and on-site experiences can be aligned for conversion lift
  • Experience working within a DTC-focused agency environment
