Responsibilities

• Develop, distribute, and manage content plan and calendar for social media channels. Manage day-to-day social media community in management tool and in native platforms by reading and responding to consumer messages as needed. Including the development of video and photography assets.
• Manage and build brand relationships with whiskey community and key brand partners to grow Cedar Ridge audience and to develop content.
• Curated and monitor user-generated content, Facebook groups and brand @tags across social platforms, interacting with consumers as needed.
• Develop and distribute weekly and monthly email newsletters.
• Work closely with Sales and Visitor Center teams to ensure brand messaging is aligned across all brand communication channels. Design and direct the development of point-of-sale materials, merchandising and promotional materials.
• Capture and edit visually engaging photo and video content, native to brand and social media channel. Content to be captured at distillery and events includes: product shots, interviews, lifestyle imagery, etc.
• Assist and manage freelance partners/agency in the creation and execution of marketing and communication materials in all print and electronic mediums. Manage relationships with advertising, print vendors and agency partners as requested.
• Evaluate key social media analytics including engagement, message volume, response time, and others to ensure brand is aligned with industry benchmarks and meeting KPIs.
• Support and implement paid media campaigns supporting brand and content strategy; manage budget for paid social. Schedule and optimize social media advertising to support brand awareness and traffic campaigns.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or comparable experience in marketing, advertising, communications, graphic design or related field
• 3-5 years of brand creative and/or social media management experience, with preference in the consumer packaged goods industries
• Excellent working knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok and other social media best practices
• Experience with graphic design software (Adobe Suite, Canva), basic video editing, and social copywriting
• Experience in audience set creation, A/B testing, monitoring and analytics reporting (Google Analytics, Facebook analytics, etc.)
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passion for creating engaging content
• Customer service oriented
• Physical demands with activity or condition existing a considerable amount of time include sitting and typing/keyboarding using a computer (i.e., keyboard, mouse, and monitor) or calculator

• Integrated marketing mindset and ability to leverage multiple channels to build awareness, momentum, and excitement for our brand
• Experience creating high-quality photography and videography to drive awareness and engagement online and at retail
• Passion for whiskey (not required)
