Responsibilities

• Lead the copywriting-related aspects of the summer intern project, and collaborate with the other interns to complete the assignment before the end of the summer
• Contribute to the efforts of the copywriting team across a variety of content and strategy projects, including research and copy development across clients and verticals
• Assist on copywriting and editing of email marketing campaigns, web pages, mobile applications, print collateral, and packaging for premium brands and services
• Help to prepare perfectly crafted creative materials and presentations that align with client objectives and embody studio best practices
• Present copy ideas and approach thoughtfully and persuasively, both internally to project teams and externally to our clients
• Participate in all team meetings and brainstorming sessions, actively contributing to the conversation

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a BA, MA, MS, or similar in a writing-related discipline
• Undergraduate candidates should be rising juniors or seniors, planning to pursue a writing-related career such as advertising, marketing, or communications
• Top-notch writing samples that demonstrate thorough research, development, and craft
• Ability to persuasively present ideas and discuss their strategic approach
• Shares and receives direction well and demonstrates excellent time-management skills
• Self-motivated and ambitious, hungry for opportunities, and passionate about writing
• Located in NYC during the summer months, and available to work both in-person and remote as needed
