Job Title: Copywriter/QA Content Specialist (Legal and Compliance Team) Location: Remote Duration: 12 Months to start with - W2 Portfolio Required Our client is seeking a highly creative and skilled Copywriter. This role is crucial for translating complex technical legal and compliance concepts, topics, and risks into clear, engaging, and concise language that is easily understood by a non-expert, company-wide audience. The content you create will reside on an employee resource platform, supporting ongoing compliance and regulatory awareness efforts. Your work will be vital in informing and engaging our diverse global workforce on a range of essential legal and compliance matters. Experience: Four or more years of professional experience as a Copywriter, QA Content Specialist or Content Writer, or in a related role, demonstrated by a strong portfolio of work. Proven experience in a copywriting or related role is required. Must-Have Skills Exceptional Writing, Editing, and Proofreading: Ability to craft clear, engaging, and concise copy for diverse internal audiences. Content Management & Strategy: Experience managing content, understanding online content strategy, and maintaining quality across platforms. Collaboration & Communication: Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, interpret briefs, and align messaging with stakeholders Nice-to-Have Skills Legal & Compliance Experience: Prior work with legal or compliance teams, translating technical concepts for non-expert audiences. Creative Thinking: Ability to offer innovative, "out-of-the-box" ideas for content and messaging. Design Collaboration: Experience partnering with designers and sourcing appropriate images to enhance content. Responsibilities: Content Creation & Refinement: Write clear, compelling, and engaging copy for various internal mediums, including articles, Workplace posts, and training initiatives, ensuring a distinct and consistent voice aligned with our style guidelines and brand. Adaptability & Impact: Skillfully vary the voice and style of messaging based on the content's purpose, target audience, company, or industry. Consistently raise the standard for fresh, impactful writing that drives desired action and connects with the audience. Collaboration & Partnership: Interpret copywriting briefs accurately to grasp project requirements. Develop and maintain strong, effective relationships with working teams, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and drive successful project outcomes. Project Execution: Collaborate effectively with designers and other professionals on a variety of projects (e.g., email campaigns, project spotlights, Workplace posts, and training deployments). Quality Assurance: Edit, proofread copy, source appropriate images, and manage content with a keen eye for quality assurance. Workload Management: Thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, managing a high-volume workload and often meeting short turnaround times. Education: BSc/BA in Marketing, English, Journalism, or a related field. Qualifications: Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with expertise in content management. Write and refine copy for articles, Workplace posts, and training materials. Adapt messaging style for different audiences and purposes. Edit, proofread, and ensure content quality. Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team. Knowledge of online content strategy and creation. Capable of offering creative, "out-of-the-box" thinking. Prior experience working with legal and compliance teams Collaborate with designers, subject matter experts, and stakeholders.
