Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Creative Execution: Conceptualizing, writing, and producing a wide variety of copy deliverables across all mediums, including high-level brand messaging, ad campaigns, websites, and video scripts.
  • Collaboration: Being a radical collaborator by working closely with other writers, designers, collaboration managers, founders, clients, and occasionally their customers.
  • Quality Control & Accuracy: Maintaining quality control for all written deliverables, ensuring flawless grammar, punctuation, and fact-checking. This includes rigorous proofreading and adhering to established brand voice and style guides.
  • Process Participation: Participating in our three main phases (Define, Create, Express), including participating in blitzes (collaborative design-thinking workshops) and providing writing support for materials used in them.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience in a brand studio, ad agency or other creative communications environment.
  • branding problem solver who cares about the strategy behind the work as much as the work itself.
  • portfolio should demonstrate an ability to write for a wide variety of mediums and deliverables—including ad campaigns (social/digital/print/collateral), high-level brand messaging, taglines, websites, films, presentation decks, and brand guidelines.
  • experience with design-thinking practices.
  • open to working with other writers, designers, collaboration managers, founders, clients (and even their customers).
