Job Summary

Own end-to-end growth experimentation for a high-velocity DTC brand, turning data and research into prioritized hypotheses, running clean setup and QA, and delivering clear results and actionable learnings with weekly reporting.

  • Lead pipeline prioritization and hypothesis generation
  • Direct end-to-end testing from ideation to readouts
  • Coordinate with Growth Engineers and Designer to maintain momentum

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Test ideation & roadmap : You keep the pipeline full and prioritised, turning analytics, session data, research, and paid-performance signals into a steady stream of high-quality hypotheses, sequenced by expected impact.
  • Experiment setup : You structure clean experiments with a clear hypothesis, primary metric, sample size, and guardrails, so every test produces a decision rather than a debate.
  • QA hygiene : You QA every variant before it goes live, across devices and edge cases. Nothing broken, off-brand, or non-compliant reaches a user, and the funnel stays protected from regressions.
  • Analysis & readouts : You read results with real statistical rigour (significance, confidence, segment effects) and call the winner, the loser, or the "inconclusive, here's what's next." Your readouts are legible and trusted.
  • Program management : You are the DRI for keeping the plates spinning. You coordinate the Growth Engineers and Designer, unblock builds, chase the pipeline, and make sure momentum never depends on one person's attention.
  • Analytics & reporting : You own a clear weekly cadence outlining what shipped, what won, what we learned, and what's next. The wider team can act on your learnings without needing to decipher them via bloated follow-up.

Requirements

  • Experience : You've spent 4+ years running a high volume (>hundreds) of experiments for DTC ecommerce brands in high-pace, high-transaction-volume environments.
  • Workstream : You’ve had dozens of tests in flight simultaneously, unblocked every build, and laid out a roadmap that’s coherently sequenced and continues to progress forward. You don’t get overwhelmed easily.
  • Hands-on : You've personally owned end-to-end testing, from ideation and setup all the way to QA and readouts. You remain close to the metal and haven’t just simply managed an agency and/or a team.
  • Funnel literacy : You understand the ad-to-landing-page handoff and how CRO interacts with paid efficiency (CAC, quality score, LP experience).
  • Analytical : You possess a sharp analytics and CRO mindset. You're comfortable inside the data, naturally curious, and able to dig past top-line numbers into segments and behaviour. You have a hunger to improve and are constantly upskilling.
  • Structured : Written planning, explicit prioritisation, and a dependable reporting cadence are what you hang your hat on. Teammates can digest and apply your learnings immediately.
  • Autonomous : You operate with high ownership in a fast-moving environment. You measure yourself in outcomes, and the outcomes here require real pace. You don’t need your hand held.

Preferred

  • Statistical sophistication : You may possess deeper stats fluency, from significance and power to sequential testing and guarding against false wins. This may not be a fully fledged strength yet, but the substrate is present.
  • Research : You likely have some degree of comfort with both qual and quant, from heatmaps and session recordings to surveys and user testing. This helps you source new hypotheses.
  • Regulated-industry CRO : You may have experimented inside a regulated industry before, where compliance shapes what you can test, say, and ship. You know how to keep velocity high without stepping over the line.
  • Technical : You don't need to code, but you maybe understand how websites and data work under the hood. You can translate ideas into precise, buildable requests for the dev + design team and QA what comes back.
  • Localisation : You've likely run experimentation across multiple markets/geographies and know the practical patterns, particularly in the UK + EU.

Benefits

  • Healthcare : comprehensive medical insurance (if appropriate).
  • Remote : our team is fully distributed across the world and functions fully remotely.
  • Personal development : budget for books, courses, coaching.
  • Personal wellness : budget for gym, health apps.
  • GLP-1s : free membership with a clinic offering GLP-1s.
  • Health coaching : free biweekly health coaching so you stay healthy.
  • Work coaching : free biweekly work coaching so you stay sharp + calm.
  • Equipment : Macbook & work-from-home equipment provided as needed.
  • What are we missing? We're still early so you get to shape our culture.

AIOS (YC W20/S21)

Our overarching mission is to accelerate the mass-market adoption of consumer biotech products so every human can live at least 100 healthy years. Our immediate focus is excess bodyweight. We are accelerating the take-up of GLP-1 medications by increasing their accessibility to help solve obesity worldwide. To do that, we’re building an AI-powered clinical operating system: ClinicOS. ClinicOS makes it effortless for consumer brands to easily offer direct-to-patient healthcare, globally. We work with external Brand Partners, as well as using this infrastructure to scale our own internal consumer healthcare brands (e.g. Fella Health).Since we launched Fella Health in the US in June 2021, Fella has positioned itself as no-nonsense weight loss for busy bigger guys. Today, we operate multiple brands across the US & UK — our two biggest are Fella Health (US & UK) & Bolt Pharmacy (UK).Our infrastructure will have served 100 million patients worldwide by 2035. We’ll then use that direct-to-patient infrastructure to serve next-gen biotech products at-scale to increase the proportion of humans living at least 100 healthy years. In so doing, we’ll become the world’s first trillion dollar healthcare company.Backed by Y Combinator, Global Founders Capital, AngelList Quant Fund, and the founders of: Indeed, Curative, Alan, Kaia Health, Vouch Insurance, Not Boring.Inspired by our founder's 6-year secret battle with binge eating disorder 2013-2019.
