Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Research and write comprehensive articles on topics including Zero Trust architecture, threat intelligence, cloud security, CSPM/CWPP, and incident response
  • Tailor tone and technical depth to effectively communicate with diverse audiences, from executive-level decision-makers to technical security analysts
  • Create compelling, high-CTR titles that resonate within the cybersecurity community and attract media attention
  • Implement editorial and client feedback to ensure content accuracy and relevance
  • Develop content that not only explains threats but also offers actionable strategies for security improvement
  • Maintain a high standard of technical accuracy through diligent fact-checking and research
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including editors and designers, to produce cohesive and engaging content
  • Manage multiple writing projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines and quality standards

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of professional experience as a content writer specializing in cybersecurity or high-level information security topics
  • Published work on reputable news sites, industry blogs, or vendor blogs related to cybersecurity
  • Extensive knowledge of cybersecurity niche topics such as Identity and Access Management (IAM), Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR/XDR), Network Security, Ransomware, and Compliance frameworks (SOC2, GDPR, HIPAA, NIST)
  • Proven experience writing long-form guides, mitigation articles, security tool comparisons, trend reports, and thought leadership content
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build productive relationships in a remote environment
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Commitment to technical accuracy, fact-checking, and delivering high-quality content that builds brand trust
  • Optional: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
  • Optional: Basic knowledge of SEO tools and practices, and experience collaborating with design and UX teams
