Responsibilities

• Content Development for Immersive Experiences
• Create and structure narrative content for immersive and interactive experiences produced by the XR team.
• Translate complex development knowledge into clear, engaging narratives suitable for immersive media formats.
• Craft user journeys, content flows, and storytelling structures that guide users through interactive environments.
• Adapting Development Content to Interactive Formats
• Transform traditional content formats such as PDF reports, policy documents, presentations, and written research into engaging interactive and immersive experiences.
• Identify opportunities to convert static content into interactive storytelling, gamified experiences, spatial narratives, and interactive visual content.
• Work with subject matter experts to extract key insights and messages and translate them into content appropriate for immersive environments.
• UX Writing and Interactive Content
• Develop UX writing and interactive text elements used within immersive experiences, including instructions, prompts, contextual explanations, and narrative guidance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Media Studies, Digital Media, Public Policy, Education, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in content development, digital storytelling, editorial work, or UX writing.
• Demonstrated experience translating complex content into engaging digital formats.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams including designers, developers, and researchers.
• Experience working with development or policy content is highly desirable.
• Strong writing, storytelling, and editorial skills.
• Experience crafting content for immersive interactive or digital environments.
• Experience adapting long-form written materials (reports, publications, presentations) into concise and engaging narratives.
• Good understanding of immersive media formats such as VR, AR, WebXR, or interactive storytelling environments.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with creative and technical teams.

Preferred

• Experience working with XR, immersive media, or interactive storytelling projects.
• Experience adapting policy, research, or educational materials into interactive or gamified experiences.
• Familiarity with human-centered design approaches to communication and storytelling.
• Experience working in international development, knowledge communication, or policy environments.
