Job Summary

Own and drive content strategy and storytelling across campaigns, donor communications, and multimedia to boost engagement and impact, with emphasis on consistent brand voice and audience-centered narratives.

  • Content Strategy & Calendar: shape multi-channel plans and manage schedules across written, visual, and video content.
  • Story Development & Multimedia: uncover impact stories and produce video, photography, and graphic assets.
  • Brand & Audience Engagement: ensure brand consistency and leverage trends to strengthen donor and community engagement.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute content strategies that support communications, community engagement, and fundraising goals.
  • Create written content for campaigns, donor communications, websites, advertisements, newsletters, social media, and other communication channels.
  • Identify and develop stories that highlight organizational impact, programs, services, and community partnerships.
  • Produce and manage multimedia content, including video, photography, and graphic assets.
  • Manage content calendars, workflows, and multiple projects to ensure timely delivery of communications materials.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify content opportunities and support organizational priorities.
  • Maintain brand consistency across platforms and communication channels.
  • Monitor communications trends and recommend innovative approaches to strengthen audience engagement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum seven (7) years of progressively responsible professional experience in content creation, communications, marketing, storytelling, ora related field.
  • Demonstrated experience producing content across multiple formats, including written, visual, and video communications.
  • Experience leading projects, campaigns, programs, or teams with increasing levels of responsibility
  • Demonstrated success creating engaging written, visual, and video content.
  • Experience translating organizational impact and complex information into compelling audience-centered communications.
  • Knowledge of digital communications platforms, including websites, email marketing, and social media.
  • Proficiency with content creation and design tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar applications.
  • Experience with video production, photography, and multimedia storytelling.
  • Strong project management, organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
