Drive hands-on short-form video editing and content planning for multiple Austin client accounts.

  • Edit 20-25 videos per week across 5-7 accounts
  • Must-have: Portfolio demonstrating high-level editing and short-form familiarity
  • Standout: Manages shoots in Austin and contributes creative ideas across accounts

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Edit 20 to 25 short-form videos per week across 5 to 7 client accounts
  • Plot those videos strategically onto each client’s social media calendar, a week in advance
  • Attend 4 to 5 client shoots per month in the Austin area
  • Work with the team to develop content ideas and concepts for your accounts
  • You won’t be responsible for posting, scheduling, or pulling analytics. Other team members handle those tasks.

Requirements

  • Strong video editor. You can demonstrate a high level of editing capability. A portfolio is required.
  • Deep familiarity with short-form social (Reels, TikTok, Shorts)
  • Self-starter. Small team, no one is going to hover over your shoulder.
  • Responsible and reliable. You hit your deadlines.
  • Independent but collaborative. You can manage 5 to 7 accounts on your own and still show up to creative meetings with ideas.
  • Good communicator. Clear and direct.
  • Comfortable on a video shoot set and around clients.
  • Based in or willing to relocate to Austin. Shoots are in person.
