  • Own the blend of cinematic and vertical formats to capture founder moments, podcasts, events, and daily life.
  • Ship 8–12 short-form pieces weekly across TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and X, plus 1–2 longer doc-style pieces monthly for owned media.
  • Travel with the founder for festivals, retail launches, and founder events to fuel content pipelines and key moments.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Shadow Alli ~3 days/week across her schedule (podcast, events, travel, retail, daily life)
  • Move fluidly between professional camera work (cinematic B-roll, podcast multicam, event coverage) and lo-fi iPhone UGC (selfie-style talking heads, fast-cut trend formats, behind-the-scenes)
  • Cut and ship 8–12 short-form pieces/week for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and X
  • Deliver 1–2 longer doc-style pieces/month (3–8 min) for YouTube and our owned media
  • Travel domestically with Alli for festivals (ACL, Summit Series, music + wellness gatherings), retail launches, founder events, NYC/LA trips
  • Keep the raw archive organized and handed off cleanly to our broader content team
  • Bring ideas. We don’t want a button-pusher — we want a creative partner who pitches hooks, formats, and series. Be a team player.

Requirements

  • This is a real production role, not an entry point. To do this job well you need to walk in with:
  • - A clear background in filming and content creation — at least 1+ years of paid work as a videographer, content creator, or social producer, with a portfolio that proves it
  • - Proficiency with a professional camera system — a mirrorless or cinema body (Sony A7 / FX3, Canon R5/R6, Panasonic GH, Blackmagic, etc.), confident with manual exposure, lens choice, lighting, on-camera audio, and a basic gimbal setup
  • - Strong editing chops in a professional NLE — Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve, including color, sound mixing, and clean caption work
  • - Fluent in mobile UGC production — you know when to drop the cinema rig and shoot a vertical, raw, authentic iPhone piece because that’s what the moment calls for, and you can edit it in CapCut on the road
  • - The judgment to choose the right format on the fly — knowing when to go cinematic, when to go UGC, and when to mix both in the same week

Preferred

  • Has a Gen Z or younger-millennial sensibility for what performs on TikTok and Reels
  • 1–5 years into your career as a videographer, content creator, or social producer
  • Based in  Austin or  San Diego with reliable transportation
  • A self-starter who manages your own shoots and doesn’t need a producer holding your hand
  • Comfortable being in a founder's shadow
  • Down to travel domestically on short notice
  • Aligned with our world: wellness-curious, festival-friendly, community-first
