Drive crisis communications for cybersecurity incidents across clients, crafting messaging, scenario planning, and crisis plans, with multi-project delivery and client travel as needed.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop the first draft of multi-stakeholder communications messaging, and collateral around active cybersecurity incidents, including customer, employee, and investor communications, FAQs, media statements, and more
  • Support the development of a communications strategy for clients experiencing active cybersecurity incidents
  • Conduct scenario planning for likely outcomes and develop corresponding communications strategies and messaging
  • Aid in the development of content for cybersecurity tabletop exercises and cybersecurity crisis communications plans
  • Support research and non billable projects to contribute to building the team's brand and new business prospects
  • Effectively manage time across multiple projects and balance a variety of active incidents

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field
  • Up to 2 years of relevant professional experience with a background in crisis/issues management and/or cybersecurity
  • Ability to work under pressing deadlines across multiple projects and an understanding of effective time management
  • Strong communication and writing skills
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; this position does not provide visa sponsorship
  • Ability to travel to clients and FTI office(s) as needed

Preferred

  • Prior client service, consulting, or agency experience is preferred
  • Graduate degree in a relevant field
  • Proficient in use of AI tools
  • Demonstrated interest in cybersecurity and data privacy
