Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Engage with local communities to promote programs, services, and events
  • Build relationships with residents, community leaders, and partner organizations
  • Assist with community events, workshops, and outreach initiatives
  • Represent the organization professionally in-person, online, and through email communications
  • Collect feedback and report insights to improve programs and community engagement
  • Support marketing and promotional efforts through social media, flyers, and newsletters
  • Collaborate with team members to develop creative outreach strategies

Requirements

  • Entry-level position; no prior experience required
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and networking skills
  • Ability to engage diverse audiences and build meaningful relationships
  • Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks in fast-paced environments
  • Familiarity with social media, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace

Preferred

  • A degree in communications, social sciences, or related field is a plus but not required
  • Interest in nonprofit work, community engagement, public relations, or marketing
  • Experience with community outreach or public events
