Job Summary

Drive local developer ecosystem growth by building in-person presence and partnerships in U.S. tech hubs to convert builders into enterprise advocates.

  • Own local presence: organize meetups, hackathons, and office hours with partners in key U.S. cities.
  • Must-have: 3+ years in growth, developer, or community marketing for B2B SaaS and proven U.S. developer engagement.
  • Standout: Active network in U.S. dev/startup communities or accelerators (YC, Techstars).

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Build & nurture local presence: Organize and co-host regular meetups, hackathons, workshops, and office hours in key U.S. tech cities—partnering with co-working spaces, accelerators (e.g., YC, Techstars), and developer communities.
  • Cultivate ecosystem partnerships: Identify and collaborate with influential local players—DevRel advocates, indie makers, startup CTOs, influencers, and technical bootcamps—to drive authentic advocacy and usage.
  • Design community-first campaigns: Launch referral loops, open-source integrations, and “build-in-public” challenges that resonate with hands-on builders and early-stage teams.
  • Bridge bottom-up and top-down: Use grassroots momentum to create enterprise entry points—turning champion developers into internal advocates within scaling startups and mid-market tech companies.
  • Track & scale what works: Measure engagement depth (not just sign-ups), retention among community-sourced users, and pipeline influence from local activities. Share insights globally to inform other regional strategies.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in growth, developer, or community marketing (B2D/B2B SaaS).
  • Proven success engaging U.S. developers or startup teams.
  • Familiarity with major U.S. tech hubs (SF, NYC, Austin, etc.).
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.

Preferred

  • Active in U.S. dev/startup communities or accelerators (YC, Techstars, etc.).
  • Technical background or hands-on coding experience.
  • Experience marketing AI tools or developer platforms (e.g., GitHub, Cursor).
  • Fluent in both English and Mandarin is a plus
