Job Summary

Own regional referral development and market outreach for Home Care/Hospice, coordinating with staff and referral sources to drive growth; own reporting and alignment across marketing activities and key accounts, with travel and after-hours flexibility.

  • Align with Home Care/Hospice teams for a team-based marketing approach and ensure smooth account transitions.

Job Description

Responsibilities - Works with all possible referral sources to educate them on the company. - Works with Home Care/Hospice staff to encourage and ensure that a team approach to marketing is being used. - Responsible for the implementation of market business development initiatives which support the achievement of growth objectives and strategies of the Home Care/Hospice programs. - Responsible for establishing regional referral relationships and partnership opportunities with major regional referral sources. - Adds creative ideas to continue developing cutting-edge marketing plans. - Must be flexible to accommodate schedule changes. - May require travel up to 90% of the time. - May also require work after normal business hours to accommodate referrals and client needs. - Completes reports: weekly on marketing activities, monthly summaries of marketing activities, and annually for company report on growth, stability, changes, etc. in assigned marketing program (director is responsible for overall company profile). - Works with referral sources to ensure smooth transition of pharmacy accounts. - Completes T&R and makes updates in a timely manner. Requirements - A marketer with Home Care/Hospice experience, preferred as Director of Marketing or willingness to travel, overnight if required. - Three to five years in admissions, marketing, managed care, network development, general management, or related field. - Preferred Home Care/Hospice or other related health care experience. - Excellent presentation skills, interpersonal skills, phone skills. - Organizational skills.
