Job Summary

Own MotorBiscuit’s social content engine across major platforms, turning automotive moments into high-retention reels and engaged communities.

  • High-Volume Content Execution and Platform Optimization: manage daily posts and tailor voice for each channel, plus community engagement.
  • Video Production & UGC Licensing: turn podcast footage and viral clips into engaging short-form videos while securing rights to feature creators.
  • Design & Native Content: craft striking graphics and templates to support shareable, on-brand posts.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • High-Volume Content Execution: Manage and execute a daily posting schedule of 6-8 posts per platform on Facebook, Instagram, X, Threads, and YouTube Shorts / Community.
  • Video Production (Reels/Shorts/TikToks): Film and/or edit fast-paced, "fun" short-form vertical videos. You will be responsible for taking podcast footage or news stories and turning them into engaging, high-retention content.
  • Graphic Design: Create visually stunning social templates, infographics, and "link-in-bio" assets using Canva, Photoshop, or similar tools.
  • UGC Sourcing & Licensing: Proactively scout viral car clips (drifting, restoration, fails, supercar spots). You will reach out to owners/creators to negotiate permission and clear rights to feature their content on MotorBiscuit channels.
  • Platform-Specific Optimization: Tailor the "voice" of MotorBiscuit for each platform, from news-heavy updates on X to community-driven polls on Instagram Stories.
  • Community Management: Engage with the MotorBiscuit audience in the comments to drive sentiment and foster a loyal enthusiast community, META groups, etc.

Requirements

  • Automotive and Motorsport Knowledge: You must have a deep passion for and knowledge of automotive and motorsport. You should be familiar with industry trends, major brands, and enthusiast culture.
  • Editing Skills: Expert-level skills in mobile or desktop video editing (CapCut, Premiere Pro, TikTok, or After Effects).
  • Graphic Design: A strong eye for typography and layout; ability to create clicky, readable graphics.
  • Viral Intuition: You know what makes a video shareable. You understand hooks, trending audio, and how to beat the algorithm.
  • Communication: Comfortable performing "digital outreach"—sending DMs and emails to creators to build a network of content partners.
  • Endurance: The ability to handle a high-volume output (30+ combined posts per day) while maintaining quality and brand voice.
