Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Manage the delivery of technical training programs for customers regarding the features, functionality, and operation of lottery systems and software products.
  • Develop project schedules, work plans, and resource requirements for training and communication initiatives.
  • Create and deliver effective curricula that translate learning objectives into practical knowledge and skills.
  • Lead training sessions for audiences with diverse professional backgrounds and responsibilities.
  • Maintain the operational status of training systems and related software used to create and manage training documentation.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop trade and sales support materials, including the creation and/or editing of training documentation and visual presentations.
  • Interpret creative direction and technical information to produce clear, compelling, and persuasive written content.
  • Champion new approaches to communication and training delivery by evaluating existing processes and recommending more efficient and effective methods.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; journalism, communications, or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of professional experience producing copy for print and/or training materials.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work under continual, staggered deadlines.
  • Strong understanding of AP style, with the ability to explain and apply its rationale.
  • Proven writing and editing skills, along with effective content strategy and planning abilities.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and solutions-oriented, with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across teams, paired with a creative mindset.

Preferred

  • Lottery industry experience preferred.
