Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Write news stories, website content, internal communications, and promotional copy
  • Capture photography and video at school events, programs, and campus activities
  • Edit short-form video content for social and digital platforms
  • Support social media content planning, publishing, monitoring, and performance tracking
  • Assist with website content management and updates within the School’s CMS
  • Contribute to digital marketing campaigns, including email and social initiatives
  • Collaborate with colleagues across departments to identify and develop story opportunities
  • Design and produce digital and print marketing materials, including social graphics, event promotions, presentations, and publication support assets
  • Assist with researching, interviewing, and writing in-depth feature stories for School publications, including alumni and institutional storytelling initiatives
  • Participate in team planning and campaign development efforts

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, journalism, or a related field
  • Minimum of two years of professional experience in marketing, communications, public relations, journalism, or a related field
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfort capturing photo and video content in live environments
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with attention to detail
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently when needed
  • Sound judgment, professionalism, and commitment to confidentiality
  • Appreciation for and respect toward diverse perspectives, experiences, and backgrounds
  • Willingness to learn new tools, technologies, and skills
  • Must-have: Bachelor’s degree and at least two years in marketing, PR, or journalism

Preferred

  • Experience with Mailchimp or similar email marketing platforms
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics, SEO concepts, and digital performance reporting
  • Experience developing, monitoring, and evaluating social media content and paid campaigns
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite or Canva
  • Basic video editing experience
  • Interest in digital marketing trends and best practices
